We at First Baptist Church of Garden City truly believe the gospel of Jesus Christ must be spread throughout the world, as comissioned in God's Word.

Matt. 28:19  "Go ye therefore , and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."

Mark 16:15  "And He said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

We know that each member cannot go personally into a foriegn country to spread the gospel, but we can do our work locally by our visitation program and distribution of tracts.

God has called men to go into the foriegn countries and spread the gospel, we thank God for these men and their families.  We believe it is our duty and responsibility to pray for and support them financially.

At this time we are blessed in supporting 35 missionaries both at home and abroad, and pray that this number will increase.
